That’s the catch: the 2011 Camaro’s battery location isn’t under the hood! Instead, you’ll find the battery in the trunk of the vehicle.
To access it, you will need to remove the floor mat, and unscrew the knob to remove the floor of the trunk. Then, take out the air compressor and styrofoam piece, and you’ll see your battery.
