Where is the 2010 Chevy Cobalt battery location?

I’m driving around in my new Ford Edge, and it’s almost time for our first trip to a gas station together. I must be losing it though, cause I simply cannot tell where the gas tank lever is. Where’s the gas tank release on a Ford Edge?

Would I be able to open the trunk of my Nissan Pathfinder from inside the car. I have nightmares about being trapped in heavy snow and the only door that will open is the trunk. Is that weird? How do I open the Nissan Pathfinder trunk from inside?
