Where is the 2007 Hyundai Elantra OBD port location?

We’ve had a 2007 Hyundai Elantra in our family for over a decade, but it’s recently shown signs of engine trouble. I want to run a diagnostics test to see what’s causing it. Where would I find the OBD port in an old Elantra?

Oh no! It’s always tough when the old reliable ride starts to decline. Luckily, the OBD port in a 2007
Hyundai Elantra
is easy to access under the steering wheel and above the pedals.
Since you’ve owned your Elantra for a significant amount of time, you most likely have an OBD-II scanner to check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC). While you may be able to
understand car OBD codes
with a bit of mechanical knowledge, they can be difficult for anyone to decipher.
It’s probably best to
take your car to a mechanic
to diagnose its problems, especially since you’re seeing concerning engine symptoms already. Many Elantra owners have mentioned having engine issues, electrical problems, steering stalls, and braking troubles over the years, so the safest bet is to take your
