Porsche is actually a German manufacturer. To be exact, Porsche is from Stuttgart, Germany.
While Porsche might be a global company today, the brand was originally founded in Stuttgart in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche. In addition to being the home of Porsche’s headquarters, Stuttgart is also the capital of Germany’s southwest Baden-Wurttemberg state and the home of Mercedes-Benz’s headquarters.
