Where is Irv Gordon's Volvo now?
I read that a man named Irv Gordon from New York bought a Volvo P1800 in 1966 and never bought another car for the rest of his life. Supposedly, he got over 3 million miles out of it, but he sadly passed away. Where is his Volvo today?

The Volvo that Irv Gordon famously drove over 3 million miles is currently owned by Volvo. After reading about Gordon’s insanely high mileage, Volvo offered to purchase the car from his family upon his death. While some thought that Volvo might display it, the automaker actually bought it to study how it was capable of going so many miles.
Over the course of 3 million miles, Gordon just did simple maintenance, one engine rebuild, and basic parts replacement of his Volvo P1800. But at its core, the body, engine block, and transmission were all original. Originally purchased for just $4,150, Gordon certainly got his money’s worth and drove the car up until his death in 2019 at the age of 77.
