Where does the name Lamborghini come from?
I’m writing a high school paper about my favorite company, Lamborghini. My dad’s a mechanic, so I’m more knowledgeable about what’s under the hood, but I still need to know more about the company itself. Where did Lamborghini get its name?

That sounds like one paper that’s actually fun to write! The name Lamborghini comes from Ferruccio Lamborghini who founded the company in 1963. Today, Lamborghini is one of the most successful names in the industry, boasting nearly $600 million in annual sales.
Ferruccio Lamborghini himself wasn’t exactly an automotive person to begin with, although he was a manufacturing magnate that got his start in the tractor business. His parents were grape farmers in Italy, so his knowledge of mechanics eventually led to a successful tractor business.
