I keep seeing ugly oil stains on my driveway wherever I park my car. I’m hoping there is an easy way to fix this. Where does oil leak from?

Where oil leaks from is the engine, usually via a bad seal or plug.
Here are some possible causes of an oil leak:
  • Bad valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, or cylinder head gasket
  • Bad timing cover seal or crankshaft seals
  • Faulty oil drain plug
If a parked car is leaking oil, it’s usually the oil pan gasket. Luckily, some of these seals are relatively easy to replace.
You should get this taken care of ASAP. Not only is leaking oil bad for the environment but it’s a fire risk. Bring your car to a skilled mechanic to determine the source of the problem.
On top of regular maintenance, it’s important for all drivers to carry the right
