Where do I send the insurance check for my medical bills in New York?

What do I do after receiving a check from my insurance? Since I live in a no-fault state, I received a check from my auto insurance company for costs associated with a recent accident.

“If a car insurance company agrees to a medical settlement, they will send the check directly to the victim.
It’s up to the victim to then use the payment to cover hospital expenses or to provide the hospital (or medical care provider) with their auto insurance claim.”
