Where can I leave my car when traveling?

I’m flying to Costa Rica this spring for a much-needed vacation. I’ll be gone for a month and don’t feel comfortable leaving my car in front of my house. Where should I leave my car when I’m traveling?

Costa Rica is an amazing place to take a well-deserved vacation! But the last thing you want to do on vacation is worry about your car. Luckily there are several places you can leave your while traveling depending on how much you’d like to spend.
From least to most costly these are your options:
  • Leave your car with friends or family. This is the simplest and most affordable place to leave your car while traveling. They’ll keep an eye on and
    drive your car
around the block to keep it running smoothly.
  • Use long-term vehicle storage. Starting at $45 for small vehicles, renting a long-term vehicle storage unit is an affordable option. Disconnect the battery and top of your fluids to prepare your car to sit idly.
  • Park in an off-site airport parking lot. These lots or garages are located near the airport but are a much less expensive option than airport parking. You can even coordinate a shuttle to take you to and from the airport with your luggage.
