"Where can I get a car loan for an eight-year old car? "

"I am looking to buy an eight-year old car for $9,000, but the lender that I have used for my last few cars will not approve a loan for any vehicle over six years old. Is there a special lender for older cars?

“There is really no “”special lender”” that will approve loans that no one else will. Every lender is going to be different and have their own policies regarding the age of a financed vehicle.
I have used local banks before for older cars without issue. Another option may be to get an unsecured loan—that way, it doesn’t matter which car you buy with the money. “
