Where can I find out when I got my driver's license?

I remember the year, but not the exact date when I got my driver’s license. I'm looking for car insurance quotes online and most carriers are asking for it.

To find out when you first got your driver’s license, you can look at your original license or contact the DMV to find the date of issuance.
To find the exact date you were licensed, there’s a few things you can do.
If you still have your original license: Look for the issue date, which will tell you the date that you were first given the license.
If you’ve renewed your license or gotten a new license since you were first licensed: Contact your DMV directly. They can tell you the date via phone, or you may be able to request your driving record online.
Hope this helps! If you can prove that you’ve been driving for a long time, you might be able to unlock lower
car insurance
rates since someone who has been licensed longer often will have a lower rate than a new driver.
