Where can I find a trustworthy mechanic?

Where do I look for a trustworthy mechanic? I just moved to a new state and I need to find a mechanic that I can trust.

“The best way to find a trustworthy mechanic just might be word of mouth or through a friend or family member.
Technology hasn’t outpaced this old-school idea, and you just may find that this referral is almost always the best way to find an honest mechanic. That said, if you don’t know anyone in your new town, you can always go online and read reviews about local mechanics.
If you prefer having someone’s opinion, you might ask your
car insurance
company, use an app, or search reviews online. Using any of these combinations should help you find someone who’s reputable.
Since you just moved, make sure you contact your car insurance company. It’s possible they may need to update your policy to meet your new state’s minimum insurance requirements.
If you feel like your new rates are too high, try using the
Jerry
app. Jerry compares rates from the top providers and delivers the best deals to your phone in minutes. And the best part–Jerry does this for free.”
