Where can I charge my electric car?

I just bought a new Nissan Leaf and it’ll arrive in a couple months. I was wondering if you guys had any advice on where and how best to charge an EV?

Nice choice! The Leaf is a great reliable

. As for charging it, there are a few ways, depending on where you live: at-home chargers, or public Level 2 or Level 3 chargers. If you live in a house with off-street parking, you could look into getting an at-home charging station. This would be installed wherever you usually park your car, and would use power from your home to charge your EV when you aren’t using it. This is the most ideal setup, as you wouldn’t have to leave home to charge it and it would always be accessible to you. A second option for those without their own property for a charging station would be public charging stations. Functioning much like gas pumps, many already exist at gas stations, apartment buildings, public parking garages, and retail parking lots. There are two kinds of charging stations typically available at these locations: Level 2 and Level 3 chargers. Level 2 chargers are a bit more common, but their charging times are much slower than those of Level 3 chargers. Also known as DC fast chargers, these can recharge EVs up to 80% capacity in 30 minutes. Buying an EV is exciting, but the process of insuring it might not be. However,
