Where are Volvo electric cars made?

I’m interested in buying an electric car but I want to make sure I get one that’s made in the US. I like the Volvo brand, but I know it’s Swedish. Do they make any electric cars here?

Volvo electric cars are made in Volvo’s factory in
Ridgeville, South Carolina
, which was the group’s first all-electric vehicle assembly plant. Electric vehicles are also made in the plant in Ghent, Belgium, with plans for future EV production in Chengdu, China.
