Where are the rest stops on I-40 in Arizona?

We’re planning a trip from Los Angeles to visit my parents in Oklahoma City, and taking I-40 most of the way. But I’m having a hard time finding out where the rest areas are in Arizona. We have young children, so it’s important to know. Could you tell me where the rest stops on I-40 in Arizona are located?

Currently there are just two rest stops open on I-40 in
Arizona
—the Haviland rest area near Yucca, and the Meteor Crater rest area near
Flagstaff
.
There are rest stops on both sides of the highway, eastbound and westbound, so you can plan for those same stops on your return trip to
Los Angeles
too.
The drive from Los Angeles to Oklahoma City might be straightforward, sticking to one highway, but it’s still a monumental trek across half of the country— nearly 1,330 miles of driving! Make sure your car is up to the task, and that you understand the
car insurance
laws in each of the states you’ll be passing through.
