My family and I have lived in Modesto for a few years but we’re looking for a bit of a change. I’m considering moving up toward Stockton to be closer to family and friends, but I don’t know much about the area. Where are the best places to live there?

The best places to live in Stockton include Brookside, Village Oak, Spanos Park, Lincoln Village West, and Pacific—but the right one for you will depend on what you’re looking for in a community. Here’s a look at each neighborhood:
- Brookside—low crime, great schools, family neighborhood
- Village Oak—mixed city and rural atmosphere, diverse restaurants, relatively cheap housing
