Where are Nissan parts made?

Call me crazy, but I always like to know where the things I buy are coming from. I’m thinking about buying a Nissan, but I don’t want to get a bunch of second-rate parts under a Nissan nameplate. Where does Nissan get its parts?

Nissan gets its parts from all over the world, but a vast majority come from China and Japan. At one point in time, almost all parts were produced in Japan, but due to cost-saving strategies, Nissan was forced to manufacture parts in China.
In the Japanese language, these third-party parts producers are known as keiretsu. It’s somewhat of a bad word in Japan, but as far as costs are concerned, it’s a solid move — especially as the quality of Chinese manufacturing improves.
Regardless of where the parts come from, Nissan cars continuously get stellar reviews for reliability and dependability. Don’t let the origin of the parts detract from your sense of quality. So if you want to buy one, make sure to reduce your
