Where are MINI Coopers made?

I’m shopping around for a car, and although it wasn’t originally on my radar, I really like MINI Cooper. I’d consider buying one, but I first want to ensure they aren’t made in a place that would hamper the quality. Where are MINI Coopers manufactured?

First, a quick note: MINI Cooper isn’t the name of the company—it’s just MINI. To answer your question, MINIs are made in Oxford, England, United Kingdom, where they’ve been produced since 1959.
The MINI Cooper was an individual model produced in two iterations: one from 1961 to 1971 and the other from 2001 to 2015. However, this car has been subsequently discontinued and is no longer available.
But even though the MINI Cooper is gone, you can still choose from one of the company’s other models, such as the:
  • Countryman
  • Clubman
  • Hardtop (2- or 4-door)
  • Convertible
  • Electric
If one of these cars suits your fancy, the next logical step is to take a look at the
