Where are Dodge engines made?

I’m a big-time Dodge fan (love my Charger) and a loyal patriot. Are all Dodge engines American-made?

Wow! America and Dodge—glad you’ve found your passions. Dodge engines are manufactured by Chrysler (now referred to as FCA) and are made in Michigan, Detroit, and Mexico.
Let’s dig into that a bit more.
Dodge makes its engines at three main facilities:
  • Dundee Engine Plant in Dundee, Michigan
  • Trenton Engine Plant in Trenton, Michigan
  • Mack Avenue Engine Plant in Mack Avenue, Detroit
  • Saltillo South Engine Plant in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila, Mexico
Dodge’s four-cylinder engines are made in Dundee, Michigan, while its V6 engines are made in Michigan, Detroit, and Mexico. V8 engines are made in Mexico, as well.
Looks like Dodge is a (north!) American brand.
