Where are Australian Jeeps made?
I love Jeeps and want to buy one. I just moved to Australia and thought it would be nice to buy locally (which is a big thing here). Where are Australian Jeeps produced?

Jeeps are so fun to drive! Jeep mostly manufactures in the U.S, but most Jeeps sold in Australia are made in Pune, India.
They have 10 plants in six countries and sell to over 140 countries. In addition to the U.S., Jeep manufacturing plants are located in:
- Mexico
- Brazil
- Italy
- China
- India
Jeep has had a rocky history in the Australian market. It has attempted to revive the brand many times to appeal to Aussie car owners. Currently, the company is about two years into a revitalization project, which includes new messaging, a refreshed line-up, and a newly motivated dealer network. This was all designed to turn around six years of declining sales.
Time will tell if Jeep can truly be successful down under.
