Where are AMG Mercedes built?
Some of the coolest cars I’ve ever seen in my life have all been AMG variants of Mercedes models. Because of the tech behind them, I wasn’t sure if they’re produced in regular Mercedes factories or somewhere else. Where are AMG Mercedes vehicles manufactured?

AMG Mercedes vehicles are built in Affalterbach, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. This has been the location of the AMG Mercedes factory since AMG was a standalone company that moved there in 1976.
Standing for Mercedes-Aufrecht, Melcher, and Großaspach, AMG specialized in high-end Mercedes vehicles with souped-up engines and bodies. However, AMG has long been associated with Mercedes, as it was founded by former Mercedes employees and worked directly with the company for decades.
Interestingly, the world’s first standalone AMG Mercedes dealership opened in 2018 in Sydney, Australia, with the sole purpose of selling only AMG variants.
