At the moment, manufacturers and engineers are trying to create a way to extend the driving range for drivers to limit the need for charging. The Lucid Air EV has reached 500 miles. A single charge beats out Tesla’s superstar: the 2020 Model S Long Range Plus.
The compactness and low height—like a race car—produce less drag and hence make the Lucid Air EV more efficient for the motor to move. Perhaps in the future, other automakers will be inspired to revamp their vehicles or batteries to mimic the efficiency of the Lucid Air.
