When was the first Chevrolet Cruze Limited LT produced?

I’ve been searching online for a used car, and someone is advertising a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze Limited LT. I’ve heard of the LT, but what’s this “Limited” business, and when were they manufactured?

Chevrolet Cruze Limited LT
was essentially a placeholder for dealers to sell while factories ramped up production of the newly redesigned
. 2016 was the first and only Chevrolet Cruze Limited LT model year.
The Cruze Limited LT offered the same convenience and performance options as the 2015 model year and was also broken into two configuration: the 1LT, which included such options as:
  • a turbocharged engine
  • chrome wheel covers
  • one-touch-up driver’s window
And the 2LT, which added additional features to the 1LT’s configuration, such as:
  • remote start and cruise control
  • leather upholstery
  • steering-wheel-mounted audio controls
Though the Cruze was one of the models Chevy discontinued in 2019, it’s still an excellent option for anyone looking for a practical compact sedan to get around in. Since you’ll be getting a used model, your
