In terms of the aforementioned Jerry Garcia, we here at Jerry (no relation) did about a second’s worth of research to determine that the late leader of the venerable Grateful Dead is very much dead, having passed away in 1995. But if Teddy is a fan, you’ll want to take him to Haight Ashbury, the famous—and admittedly, heavily touristed—neighborhood at the center of San Francisco’s hippie and counterculture scene in the 1960s and ‘70s.
It’s very different than it was back then, but it’s still a sight to see.
As for other San Francisco highlights, there are plenty, such as the awe-inspiring Golden Gate Bridge and the edible garden of delight that is the Ferry Building and its food hall. Be sure to take Teddy to visit the seals that hang out at Pier 39, too. These absolutely hilarious animals are sure to take Teddy’s mind off of whatever is bothering him.
