What a great way to reconnect with old friends! You will have such a great time—Joshua Tree really is phenomenal.
The best time to visit Joshua Tree National Park is in the spring or the fall when the weather is best.
Spring tends to be busy with Spring Break-goers, but since summers get intensely hot in the park, the crowds are worth overlooking. Spring is also the best time to see the park’s wildflowers, which start blooming in February and March.
Fall sees fewer crowds though, and since you’re looking for a less busy time of year, that’s probably your best bet!
