When do auto insurance quotes expire?

I'm comparing quotes to find the best price, but I want to know how long I have before the quotes will change. Do auto insurance companies have a time limit on quotes?

“Shopping around is key to saving the most on your insurance, so it makes sense you’d like to know how long quotes are valid for.
Every
car insurance
company has its own policy on how long quotes remain valid. In most cases, your quote will remain valid for 30 days.
That said, the time between when you
request a car insurance quote
and purchase a policy can impact your rate.
Many companies offer early shopping discounts. If you get a quote for a policy to start in three weeks and then don’t purchase it until the day before the effective date, your rate could increase.
If you find that a quote has expired, reach out to an agent. They may be able to find your quote in the system or quickly set you up with a new one.
