When did the Lamborghini SUV come out?

The Lamborghini SUV came out in 2018. Lamborghini unveiled its high-performance SUV, the Lamborghini Urus, in December 2017, with production beginning for the 2018 model year.
The Urus has been a runaway success for the Italian automaker. The Urus was Lamborghini’s top seller in 2021 with 5,021 units sold, leading the company to record-breaking sales.
With a 658-horsepower V8 engine and an interior reminiscent of a fighter jet cockpit, the Lamborghini Urus is an SUV like no other.
But, the Urus is not the first Lamborghini SUV. From 1986 to 1993, Lamborghini produced the LM002, a chunky Hummer-like off-road vehicle. The Rambo Lambo, as it was known, was decked out with leather trim, tinted windows, a high-end stereo, and specially-made run-flat tires.
The Urus is the only SUV that Lamborghini makes today, and you can expect to pay a pretty penny for the Lambo badging. The entry price for a 2023 Lamborghini Urus is approximately $230,000, while the upgraded Performante trim goes for $264,671—and don’t try to round down.
