What’s the safest Aston Martin?

I’ve always wanted a sports car, and really love the look of Aston Martins. I know sports cars get a reputation for being a little dangerous, but I still want to make sure I’m getting some safety features. What’s the safest Aston Martin?

Although Aston Martin’s vehicles haven’t been rated by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the British carmaker now includes a luxury SUV in its lineup called the DBX, its safest model.
When it comes to safety features, the DBX is equipped with anti-lock brakes, front, side, overhead, and knee airbags, and an advanced driver-assistance technology suite, which includes:
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Collision detection with automatic emergency braking
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Lane departure warning and lane-keeping assistance
Because of their larger size, SUVs often sustain less damage in the event of an accident and offer better protection than smaller sedans and sports cars. In addition, higher ground clearance and raised seats offer better visibility, making it easier to see and react to road hazards.
