is going to be a bucket of bolts, so you’re pretty solid there. If you go for the 2012—the final model year for the CX-7—then your Mazda CX-7
will have a top speed of 130 miles per hour.In 2012, buyers had a choice of two engines for their CX-7:
- 161-hp 2.5L inline-four
- 244-hp turbocharged 2.3L inline-four
The 244-horsepower turbocharged engine is what gets you to 130 mph, and it was available on the s Touring trim and the s Grand Touring trim, so if you’re really interested in speed, you should go for one of those.
Here are a few additional specs for the turbo engine:
- 244 horsepower @ 5000 rpm
- 258 lb-ft of torque @ 2500 rpm
- 0-60 mph in 10.1 seconds
