What’s the difference between the Ford Flex Limited and the Titanium?

My cousin was looking at used Ford Flex SUVs the other day and she kept saying she wants either a Limited or a Titanium. I’m kind of confused, though—what’s the difference between the Ford Flex Limited and the Titanium?

Your cousin has great taste—a blend of a station wagon and an SUV, the Ford Flex is one of the more iconic vehicles to go out of production.
The difference between the Ford Flex Limited and the Ford Flex Titanium is that the Titanium is a higher trim, and a relatively rare one.
Produced only between 2011 and 2012, the Ford Flex Titanium features microfiber suede seat inserts and a perforated leather trim steering wheel. It also has bigger 20-inch wheels compared to the Limited’s 19-inch wheels, and is styled with unique exterior and interior trims.
In every Ford Flex model year aside from 2011 and 2012, the Limited trim is the highest trim level. It’s actually not that much different from the Titanium, minus the few interior and exterior differences noted. Therefore, while the Ford Flex Limited has “less” ritzy perforated leather upholstery and a wood-trimmed steering wheel, both trims include a rearview camera, digital music storage, and real-time traffic and weather navigation.
If your cousin gets lucky on the used car market, both trims could also be equipped with extras like a refrigerator and console in the second row, heated second row captain chairs, and rear seat entertainment systems. So as a passenger, you may just benefit if she snags one of these more equipped Flex models!
When your cousin finally does take home that Ford Flex of her dreams, it’s important to protect such a valuable investment with quality car insurance—
