What's the cost of a car door?

I let my daughter drive my car and she somehow managed to break the car door off by backing up with the car door open. What's the cost to replace it?

Sorry to hear about your daughter’s mishap, but hopefully you can get it fixed without spending too much money! The price of the door will vary based on the make and model of the vehicle, but will likely cost somewhere between $500 and $2,500.
than a newer car that’s still being made.
The price will also depend on whether the electronics and other components in the door still work, and may be a bit of a challenge for older cars; used cars that are no longer manufactured may be harder to find. You may have to look on the internet or visit a junkyard, which can save you money, but takes far more time.
