My daughter is a new mom, and I want to get her a safe SUV. After researching it, I think I’ve decided on a used Mazda CX-5, but I don’t want one that’s had any major issues. What’s the best year for a used Mazda CX-5?

The 2018 CX-5 is old enough to be a little more affordable, but it’s also a year into the second-generation production run. You’ll get all the cost benefits of buying a used car shopping without sacrificing any of the more modern amenities that you could find on a more recent model.
