I think it’s finally time to retire my old 1998 Chevy Tahoe. I’d really like to get another Tahoe since this one lasted so long—but I don’t think I have the budget for a brand new one. What’s the best year for a used Chevy Tahoe?

Chevrolet Tahoe
has a long history that’s largely positive, so you can expect a good value from almost any model year. However, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, check the used car market for a Tahoe made between 2015 and 2020.
Because these vehicles are newer, they’re less likely to come with hidden problems, as long as you look for one that’s in good condition with relatively low mileage. You’ll also get plenty of modern features such as power-adjustable seats, parking sensors, automatic wipers, Bluetooth connectivity, remote start, and a backup camera.
Looking for even more tech? All fourth-generation Tahoes could be optioned with some driver-assistance features such as forward-collision alerts, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring.
