What's the best way to clean plastic car bumpers?

I noticed a few small marks on my car bumpers. Is there a way to clean them to get rid of the marks?

I’m sorry to hear about those marks, but I’m happy to say that cleaning the bumper of your car isn’t like
organizing your trunk
—it’s surprisingly easy and takes far less time. Here’s what you need to do:
  • Wash the bumpers with a car soap
  • If you have paint transfer, spread a light layer of lacquer thinner over the transfer and repeat until the mark is gone
  • Put some vinyl cleaner on a rag
  • Wipe the area dry of water and lacquer thinner, then rub the bumper with vinyl cleaner
  • Use a toothbrush or soft brush to get rid of gunk as necessary
After completing the process, your bumper should look like new, unless you have some major cracks or damage from an accident.
If you were recently in an accident and didn’t have insurance coverage to get your bumper fixed, though, you may want to think about adding
collision
and
comprehensive coverage
to your car insurance. To do this easily, sign up with insurance broker
