The best route between St. Louis
and Dallas

to Route 69, near the town of Big Cabin in Oklahoma. From there, head south on Route 75 all the way to D-Town. This clocks in at about 9 hours and 50 minutes without stops. But the fastest route is not necessarily the best route. If you have time and you want an adventure, why not get your kicks on Route 66?
Route 66 holds an important place in American history as one of the very first highways in the US Highway System, originally stretching from Chicago to Los Angeles. The highway has been featured in countless works like John Steinbeck’s The Grapes of Wrath and the 1983 hit movie The Outsiders.
