The best route from Phoenix to Bakersfield is as follows:
  1. Take I-10 W out of Phoenix.
  2. Take exit 77C to CA-210 toward Pasadena.
  3. Continue onto I-210 W.
  4. Take exit 1A to I-5 N.
  5. Continue onto ​​CA-99 N and begin following the signs for Bakersfield!
