What’s the best route from NJ to AZ?
Is there an easy way to drive from NJ to AZ? I really want to visit my parents and I do not want to fly, but driving feels really overwhelming.

- Spend your first day driving to Columbus, Ohio. Depending on where you leave from in New Jersey, this will probably take you about nine hours.
- The next day, drive about seven hours to St. Louis, Missouri.
- Next, drive about seven and a half hours to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- From there, you can drive to Albuquerque, New Mexico in about eight hours.
- Finally, you’re ready to drive into Arizona! Getting to Phoenix will take about seven and a half hours, but you might need more (or less!) time to get to the exact city you want.
