What’s the best route from Moab to Albuquerque?

My boyfriend and I are heading to Moab for a few days to check out Arches National Park and then drive to Albuquerque. We’ve heard of a few routes to get there, but what’s the best one?

Moab is a beautiful spot and the gateway to massive red rock formations in Arches National Park! Once you’ve finished basking in the park’s beauty, the best route from Moab to Albuquerque is along US-491 S and US-550 S. It takes just over 6 hours and covers 365 miles through stunning scenery, massive rock formations, and fantastic eats.
If you want to get out and stretch your legs or grab a bite to eat, some of the small towns you’ll pass through are:
