What’s the best route from Michigan to Myrtle Beach?

I’m planning to visit Myrtle Beach for vacation, and I need to plan my driving route to make sure I’ll get there to pick up the keys for my AirBnB. What route should I use?

Driving from Michigan to Myrtle Beach will require at least one stop since the drive takes just under 16 hours to complete. When planning your route, I recommend spending the night in Charleston, West Virginia. This is the halfway point between Myrtle Beach and Michigan and is also just a fun town to visit.
If you want to make your trip a little more fun, you can also stop at other places along the way! Some fun stops on the route from Michigan to Myrtle Beach include:
  • The Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio
  • Blue Ridge Parkway, Virginia
  • Weatherspoon Art Museum in Greensboro, North Carolina
