My partner and I are thinking about a road trip from California to Texas. We’d love to check out some of the sights along the way—what’s the best route to get between the two states?

There are two main routes between California and Texas—the high route along I-40 and the low route along I-10—but the best one is along I-40 E and takes you through the lower part of
New Mexico
and Arizona
