Available with either four or five seats, the Countryman is fun to drive—especially if you go for the optional 189-horsepower turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive—but the interior features are what set it apart from other Minis.
The Countryman’s infotainment system includes a circular touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard that can be controlled with voice-activation or by using a knob in the center of the console. It includes Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, a 12-speaker stereo, built-in navigation, and driver-assistance tech such as forward-collision warning, parking sensors, lane departure warning, and more.
If there’s any downside to the Countryman, it might be that it has less storage than its larger competitors. But with more than enough room for groceries, kids’ backpacks, or even a couple of overnight bags, the Countryman makes up for its lack of cargo room by being easy to maneuver around urban areas.
