What’s the best Ford for snow?
We are a family of major Ford enthusiasts, and we live in the Upper Midwest, where there’s tons of snow every winter. We’re looking to buy a new car, but we’re wondering, what’s the best Ford for driving in the snow?

Having a snow-ready vehicle is imperative in the Upper Midwest, and if you’re wanting a new Ford, you have a great selection to pick from. Topping the list of Ford’s best snow-ready vehicles are the Bronco Sport, Expedition, and Explorer.
The Bronco Sport is an easy sell for snow driving, thanks to its all-wheel drive (AWD) and its various terrain modes, which enables optimized steering, handling, and engine performance for whatever conditions you’re driving in. There are two particular Bronco Sport driving modes for winter weather: Slippery Mode and Sand/Snow Mode.
The Ford Expedition offers four-wheel drive (4WD) and a Snow Mode that’s similar to the Bronco Sport. The Explorer similarly comes with available 4WD and a Deep Snow/Sand Mode for optimized driving in rough conditions.
