How fun! The best driving route from
New Hampshire
to Florida
is mostly along I-95 S, which you will take all the way down to Fort Lauderdale, totaling about 23 hours and covering 1,521 miles. This is a long trip, so you’ll want to break it up into a few days. What’s on offer along the Freezing-to-Florida route? Plenty! Here are some highlights:
- Before leaving Concord, visit the Pierce Manse, the home of President Franklin Pierce, our 14th Commander-in-Chief
- Hop onto US-3 S, roll through New Hampshire and stop in Worcester,Massachusetts, to stretch your legs through the Canal District
- Take the I-290 S which turns into the I-84 S once you cross intoConnecticut, and be sure to ask random strangers everything they know about car insurance when passing through Hartford
