The new 2023 Toyota Highlander will come equipped with a new 2.4-Liter turbo inline-4 engine that makes 265 horsepower and 309 lb-ft of torque. That means a power decrease from previous years (a serious bummer), but a torque upgrade that will make city driving much more zippy. Plus, the new smaller engine lowers the car’s weight, improving fuel efficiency.
Here are the XLE-specific upgrades to look forward to:
- Optional 12.3-inch infotainment screen
- Hands-free power liftgate
