Two great options! The
Toyota Highlander Hybrid
and the Honda Pilot
are top picks for a crossover SUV with a third-row seat. The better car (in our humble opinion) is the Toyota Highlander Hybrid on account of its superior fuel economy. Here’s how the two vehicles compare:
- Toyota Highlander Hybrid: MSRP of $38,200, four-cylinder engine with electric motor, fuel economy of 36 city/35 highway mpg.
- Honda Pilot: MSRP of $37,580, V6 engine, fuel economy of 20 city/27 highway mpg.
Additionally, Toyota offers free scheduled maintenance for the first two years or 25,000 miles that you own a 2022 Toyota Highlander. Honda does not offer complimentary scheduled maintenance on the Pilot.
