Hyundai Sonata GLS
was unveiled in 1985, but the car was not released for sale in the United States until 1988. The standard trim was the SE, while the GLS trim simply offered add-ons.Hyundai still makes the Sonata GLS, so it’s unlikely that the seller is lying about the year of the car unless they’re trying to make it seem older (and therefore less valuable). If you’re still worried about the age of the car, however, you can always have the vehicle inspected before you purchase it.
