What year was the first Chrysler 200 LX made?

I'm looking to purchase a used Chrysler 200 LX online and while reviewing the specs, I got a little confused. It seems like the Chrysler 200 had a bunch of different trim levels over the years, and I’m trying to figure out when the LX version came out. My question is, what year did the first Chrysler 200 LX come out?

Buying a car online is super convenient but can also bring about some questions. The year of the first
Chrysler 200 LX
was 2011.
In 2014, The Chrysler 200 got a total redesign when the second generation was produced and sold for the following model year. Production of the Chrysler 200 ended in 2017.
Throughout its relatively short history, the Chrysler 200 was offered in the following trim levels:
  • LX
  • Touring
  • Limited
  • Limited Platinum
  • S
  • C
  • C Platinum
The LX is the base model of the second-generation Chrysler 200, but it still comes with nice features like heated mirrors, and cruise control as well as a quality-made interior.
