What year was the first Chevrolet Impala 1LT made?

I’ve been looking for a used Chevy Impala LT, but I’m noticing that some of them are actually called 1LT. When did that start?

2014 was the first model year for the
Chevrolet Impala 1LT
.
Chevrolet
introduced the LT as part of their tenth-generation redesign. The 1LT simply means the car has the entry-level 4-cylinder engine as opposed to the gutsier V6 offered with the
2LT
.
In addition to the 4-cylinder engine, the Impala 1LT also included these standard features:
  • 18-inch alloy wheels
  • heated side mirrors
  • dual-zone automatic climate control
  • an upgraded convenience and safety package that included such features as parking sensors, and blind spot monitoring.
The Chevy Impala 1LT is a great mid-level option that offers more features than the base
LS
without the added cost of the top-of-the-line extras included with the
LTZ
. Whichever trim you choose,
car insurance
is likely to be pretty affordable on this used car, but why not let the experts at
