What will happen to my brother if I file a claim on his home insurance for injuries to my son?

"My brother's nanny is accused of injuring my son at my brother's house. I'm considering suing the nanny, and my lawyer also suggested making a claim on my brother's homeowners insurance. If I go ahead with the claim, what will happen to my brother and his coverage? I don't want to hurt him.

“Your brother’s homeowners insurance policy would cover any residential employees, like a nanny. However, if you proceed with filing a claim against your brother’s homeowners policy, it could impact his insurance rates and his insurability down the road if there is a large payout for any harm done to your son. Your brother’s premiums could rise and he could have trouble finding coverage in the future, so tread carefully in this situation. “
