I used to think Tesla was the only option for electric cars, but I’ve realized recently there are way more options than I thought. What was the first electric car from Audi?

Electric cars have made some real gains in popularity lately, but many automakers such as
Audi
 have been quietly growing their electric vehicle divisions for years.
Audi currently has four electric cars on the market, but the first-ever concept for the brand’s flagship electric car was launched way back in 2015.
The concept for the Audi e-Tron was first unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and the first production vehicle debuted in San Francisco in September of 2018.
Audi’s current offering of electric cars includes the Q4 e-tron, the e-tron, the e-tron S, and the e-tron GT. While these all may seem like different trim options of one vehicle, they are actually all separate vehicles with varying levels of trim options of their own.
